Using Pylot
After a firmware update (OTA) of the band, it doesn’t work
When there is a firmware update, the app will highlight that there is an update available. Click this button and follow the on-screen instructions. It should be smooth and quick.
If the update finishes and your band won’t turn on, there was likely an interruption during the update and the band is stuck in OTA mode. The Pylot app should recognise this and then try and complete the update. If not, follow the steps below.
Download the EFR Connect app on either:
Download this file onto your phone
Open the EFR Connect app, and it will immediately start scanning.
If your band is stuck in OTA mode, you will see a device called ‘OTA’. Click ‘Connect’ next to this device.
It will show a screen like this where you can select the ‘OTA firmware’ option.
This should restore your band, and you are good to go. If not, ensure your band is charged and try this, or contact us on [email protected]
